Design 101
Design 101 is a design workshop I taught for a small cohort of Berkeley students. The workshop specifically covered what the design process looked like in a publications-focused context (e.g. to design a flyer for an upcoming event).
I went with a very bold and playful design to convey that it's about the journey of creativity and expression. I also wanted to focus on how asking questions and asking for feedback are crucial to growth and improvement. By the end of the workshop, students felt more confident in their design process and better equipped to tackle real-world creative challenges.
